While one half of the DRMS team is enjoying himself in the sun in Mexico, the other is busy working the brand :) Lately I’ve been inspired by World War 2 propaganda posters… as well for pin-up girls lol. I’ve decided to play around with an illustration and some type to capture that vintage essence. I did some treatment on the paper to create that worn look. Anyways, this was a good practice run before I start designing posters for the shop.

As we face off against the cold winter snow here in Vancouver, DRMS’ own – Rob Palacol is in Las Vegas at the Army Navy Military Expo. We’ve been texting back and forth to keep things rolling. All that I can say is that from the photos that he’s been sending me, the DRMS stock is up. I’ll have the product list of what we’ve got soon. Army Navy Military Expo ranks as one of the most professionally organized army and navy surplus and apparel sector trade shows in the United States. The show brings together a large number of leading vendors and qualified, well targeted buyers under one roof and the latest products and supplies from this sector are closely looked into here. The show is held over a period of four days and serves as a convenient platform for more than 110 exhibiting companies to display an extensive range of camping accessories, outdoor products, military and industrial surplus, uniforms, work dresses, law enforcement tools and firearms, together with a host of other related products. Participating corporate houses have grand opportunities to expand their corporate networks at the show and new and innovative products are also showcased here. The overall visitor count at the show is in excess of 2500, highlighting the immense popularity of the event.

Fresh from the printers, DRMS is semi-official with these cards. This limited run was designed for the Army Navy Military Expo in Vegas. The one side houses the contact info, while the other for jotting notes to pass along the vendors. Printed on recycled card-stock, because we love our mother earth.
